Jane well it's early friday morning and still hurting from wed. that night I didn't sleep well, I was in so much pain I cried myself to sleep. Anyways now for my physical therapy apt. it was a very long apt. it last an hour and a half, she talked with me first about we had been talking about over the phone and by email then she asked me what I would like to do first I said the vaginal stuff so her and her student went out of the room and let me get undressed then she started the not so fun part she examinedpu me first to see what was really going on she said that I was very very red worse then last week when she saw me and also I have blisters on my inner labia like my GYN had seen on monday she barly touched me and I jumped back then she started pushing on different areas that hurt then it was time for the internal exam but before that she used some crisco on the area and massaged the area like what I was suppost to be doing but couldn't because it was very painful and was when she was doing it then she did the finger exam part and actually saw some blood and felt more blisters on the inside she even made me pee again just a little though she said she could feel me swelling up . She said that I need to talk with my GYN about the Blisters and then she pushed on my stomach pelvic area very very painful also I told her about the painful inscion and she examined that area and also felt a diference between that inscion and the other ones and had the student feel also then she did some massaging. Had me get dressed and did some more stretching and massaging she want me to call her in the morning to tell her how I am doing because she said no dialators yet just keep doing massaging vaginally and abdominal/pelvic stuff and she might have me come back next week before my apt. on the 22nd with her because she really wants to work on the vaginal stuff because that is what is bothering me the most she said we might have to do trigger point injections there and surgery if that and this stuff doesn't work and she wants to try and see me once a week. I have to keep an Eye on the discharge, blisters and bleeding. and that is also what my GYN says also so we will see what he has to say in the morning I have so much pain oh and she said to keep icing the area's that hurt. Jane I just want the pain to stop and I am glad I found actually three good Doctors two GYN's and one regular doc and one awesome physical therapyst.View Thread
Jane I have a question I have noticed a really strong odor coming from my Vaginal area but when I look down there there is only a little discharge clear but it also smells musty like. The area is very red and swollen to the point I can't hardly open the lips I haven't done any physical therapy for awhile. It also is itchy and burns when I pee I ALSO have possibly mastitis again my doc wants to try taking me off my Estragen for a couple days before prescribing an antibiotic I have alot of swelling there and pain I had redness but it went away I saw her today but didn't tell her about the odor thing because I realy think my GYN should deal with it but, I have been having a problem with his nurse latly when I call like today to try to be worked into his schedule because he told me if I needed to be seen last week when I saw him to call but his nurse just ignored me yesturday and never called me back and this has happend before and sometimes she doesn't believe me about him saying that plus she never comes into the room when he examins me he has a Medical assistant that does. I just don't know what is going on with my Vagina or anythin I was doing some research on something that my GYN possibly thinks I have it is called Cystocele and Cystourethrocele or possibly Enterocele. Have you any ideas for the odor because it is getting really bad my friend even said something to me.View Thread
No I had a Total LAVH when I was 27 and also had to have another surgery just four months ago to remove adhesions and if I wouldn't have had an exam every year I would have major problems I am only 28 and suffered for five years with severe endometriosis and was told by 5 GYN's that it was all in my head, even after having two scopes done to remove endometriosis. I finally found my Awesome GYN who actually cares about me and he saved my life and I will continue to get check ups yearly because that is what is recomended and I continue to have some problems. Vaginal cancer isn't rare and also you can still get Cervical cancer also.View Thread
georgiagail I am sorry but I really have to disagree with you about not having to see your GYN after you have a Hysterectomy unless you had it because of Cervical cancer the ACOG guidlines say differntly saying a women still needs to have a pelvic exam if not every year every other year because there still is a chance of getting cancer of the vagina plus if you had a Hysterectomy because of Endometriosis like me and my GYN have agreed you should get checked out once a year plus if not for a pap but The internal exam is very important also. I thank Jane would also agree with me on this point.View Thread
Hi Jane so a few days of PT and severe pain so I had to call my PT yesturday she said stop for awhile and ice all painful areas and call back in the morning if still no better so I had to call her back on the 28th and she said to schedule an apt. with her right away the only thing is she can't see me until the 10th but she doesn't want me to do any pt. until I see her and to use ice and Baking soda baths and to monitor the spotting and discharge which also started again. Plus she said call back on monday and she might be able to get me in sooner. Also on the 28th I saw my regular GYN well he isn't sure what to do yet so he is talking with my GYN vulva specialist but until they decide what to do I am stuck taking pain meds which I didn't really want to do. He thinks he might have to do some procedure but not sure yet.I just want the pain to go away Jane I can't take this stuff anymore and I know he is trying but why does the extrem pelvic pain keep coming back. He said something about posibly seeing a Urogyncologyst not sure Thanks for your Reply!View Thread

Hi Jane I am back from Vaginal Therapy lets just say I have a really awesome women of course especially dealing with that area. She first started with some stuff with my pants on and also examined my abdomen which was very painful in the lower pelvic area. Then she had me take my bottoms off and it was down to buisness a very painful 20 minutes I even peed on her she says that's normal. She wants me to do vaginal massaging in the painful areas every day for 3-5 min. but it should only cause discomfort not pain. She calls it small circles then she gave me two very small dilaters to use also every day or every other day try to go in as far as possible but don't cause pain start with the smallest one first and move up. No sex and also right now I have to do the therapy on my own until my boyfriend comes with me to an apt. I then have use caution for I should not be bleeding or have severe pain if so I have to call her right away. She said I might have to have vaginal surgery because my opening is very tight and almost locked closed and my pelvic muscles are so week. I then have to ice outter and inner as often as possible and lower ab area also. So I will be seeing her once or twice a month till Jan. if no improvement surgery Or injections. I have been having severe pelvic pain since friday but all my STD cultures were negative so my GYN in town might have to do surgery again. Oh also have urine leakage which is also another thing to work on.View Thread
Hi Jane thanks for responding so quick the incision I am talking about is my outer incision on my stomach pelvic hairline that has been causing severe pain. I also should mention that I have been spotting alot since I have had sex, which was last sunday and wed sunday was when it was not protected and then since then I haven't had sex. I am going to be really made at my Boyfriend if he gave me anything. I will be trying to get in with my GYN or the ARNP there on monday.View Thread
One question I am wondering why you are so against Hysterectomy there are millions of women who had one because they were in so much pain and had multiple surgeries and a Hysterectomy was there's and mine last resort and now I don't suffer. My GYN only did this procedure because he had no other choice maybe you need to get some counselling.View Thread
Hi Jane well just got back from the ER I was trying all day to get in with my GYN and also my Primary Doctor, but no luck I have been having severe pain during urination and vaginal discharge that is Yellow and very smelly I was tested for STD'S before but there wasn't full pentration and he didn't ejaculate plus a condom was used then this time it wasn't my GYN's nurse said that I would need to get tested, he was on-call but couldn't see me so I went into the ER again very scared but I saw a male Doctor who I had seen before he didn't do the Exam because there was an ARNP GYN who has seen me before in my GYN's office who wanted to do the exam because I saw her coming into the room and I looked very scared so it was better that way anyways first she did the spec which was bad she said I was so swollen she couldn't believe it she almost was going to call my GYN but she took the test for STD's then she said she had to do the internal exam because of all the outer pain Jane I am telling you it was so painful when she pushed on my stomach and on the inside she said that she would be talking with my GYN and that I needed to try to get in with him right away. I was given roshrin and zithromycin to treat possible clymida and gonreha I am so scared she also said I might have PID and or BV again but will not get most of the results till monday. I was glade that she was so nice to come see me I told her thank-you and she told me that if I couldn't get in with my GYN on monday that she might be able to see me. She said no sex and also I might have to have surgery because of the old inscion hurting my GYN is going to tell me what he is going to do on monday anyways so will see what happens I just want to know why they treated me for something before they even get the results back. Thanks for your Reply!View Thread
