I went to the doctor Tuesday and he put me on birth control to help with my period. He told me not to start taking the pills until the Sunday after I start my next period. Unfortunately, that's all he told me. I've never taken birth control pills before, so I'm a little confused. I was reading the paper that came with it and it said something about an 84 pack? When I picked it up from the pharmacy all that was in there was 28. 21 White ones and 7 light green ones. Do I start with the white ones or green ones? I know that's probably a dumb question but like I said I've never taken them before. Any help is greatly appreciated!View Thread
Hi everyone! I am 24 years old and have been a smoker for almost fours years now. I started smoking about 3 months after my husband and I got married. I have heard and read that smoking can impact a woman's fertility. This may be a dumb question but is it smoking in general that can impact fertility or is it according to how much you smoke? I smoke maybe half a pack a day. Yes I realize that smoking is bad for your health overall but how badly does it affect fertility?View Thread
I apologize if I posted this in the wrong place. I am 22 years old and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost two years now. I am trying to quit smoking and lower my caffeine intake because I was told this could cause fertility problems. I was researching on the net about fertility and came across this thing called FertiBella. According to these womens posts, they all pretty much got pregnant around month two of taking it. I thought about putting in an order for it but first I wanted to get some advice. First of all, what is it and what does it do? I only have one kidney but otherwise in good health as far as I know. Would it be safe for me to take this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!View Thread
Ok I have a question concerning pain in my upper right leg. I have had pains off and on in my upper right leg for about three years now. When it happens it lasts about two weeks. Here recently its started back again. Its not my whole leg that hurts, just a spot about the size of a softball. Its a dull pain at times and other times it feels like someones sticking tiny needles in my leg. When I'm sleeping at night and start to turn over to my left side, it feels like my leg is glued to the bed and I'm trying to rip it off. I'm not sure exactly what this could be as it only happens every now and then. I've tried many things like icy-hot to help but it does nothing. I've also tried pain relievers but no help there either. I was just wondering if its cause for concern or if anyone has any ideas as to what it might be.View Thread
Ok I know that I probably post a lot but even at 21 I still have a lot of questions. Yesterday was the fourth day that I was late for my period. But this morning I got up and I started and it seemed like this time its a little worse than my regular painful period. This time I can barely stand the pain. It hurts so bad I feel like I could vomit. I'm dizzy and I can barely get out of bed. It hurts so bad I can't even think straight. How come it was this late? I don't understand why. I don't know what to do about this pain. Its hurt pretty bad before but nothings working anymore. The regular over-the-counter meds do nothing to help the pain. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance. View Thread
I know there's probably a lot of questions like this but I have to ask anyway. I am 21 years old and have never missed a period. However, last month I was three days late and my period only lasted four days instead of my normal seven days. This time I was supposed to start on January 29 but its the fourth day and nothing. I had a little bit of cramping before my period was due and a little bit of cramping the last few days but no spotting. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now but I don't want to get too excited that its finally happened and then get let down. My question is should I take a home pregnancy test and when?View Thread
