I am not an MD, but have been fairly successful in treating maladies that are relatively common. I certainly try the non invasive approach first, then if that doesn't work I move on to radiation and slice and dice. Anyway, I have had a minor problem with an itching nipple and pretty much eradicated it. From time to time it occurs again, but it's not a problem. For only a few days I apply Teatree oil to the area daily; that helps with a fungal or bacterial infection that may be on the surface. Don't use it for too long (maybe 4 days) as it is astringent and very strong. Then apply the comfrey salve ( comfrey, olive oil, and beeswax only) that another person mentioned on this website (etsy.com has an incredible selection at a very reasonable price) for perhaps a week. And if that doesn't take care of it, keep researching. Your intuition will hopefully lead you to resolution. Please let me know if you are successful with this approach. Good luck!!!View Thread
