have you or your doctor looked into "Endometriosis"? i had and have all the same symptoms as you, it eventually turned into me self-diagnosing myself, and telling them to do a laparoscopy to prove or dis-prove. I was right, it was endometriosis. I went to the hospital 1-2 times a month, every month, for 3 years until anyone even mentioned the word endometriosis. your symptoms sound pretty classic for endo though, i think you should look into it. if this is a continuing problem for you, and the pain won't stop - a laporoscopy to show if there are endometrial growths and doing a biopsy of the inside of your abdomen to search for endometrial cells. I had ct-scans, ultrasounds, every test on earth, and nothing said anything. endometriosis can go completely undetected, even with ct scans and ultrasounds. when i had the surgery just to "see" - they ended up finding 30 growths, and my appendix adhered to my abdomen, near bursting. even when i had an ultrasound and ct-scan 2 weeks prior to the surgery, and they showed nothing.
i can't tell you that this is what you have - but i think that if you're in that much pain, and it is that bad, then you should definitely look into it. sadly there is no cure, and there isn't even a very good "treatment". Pain meds and a medical induced menopause is the only way, and i STILL am at a level 7-8 pain on average. hysterectomy is really the only "cure" - but i am only 20. i'd actually like to have my own kids one day, so for me that's not an option. but for you it might be.View Thread
