I agree but in the case of Cancer surgery, a doctor knows he should not take a chance. When he's in their doing the "Treatments" he can tell by the looks if the paps was correct.
Anyway, if the doctor is very experienced, he knows what to look for even before the lab gets the answers, I'm sure.
Take it from a surgical nurse. But, you'll get a better answer from this site!
