I just finish going through it myself..The pain woke me up out of my sleep...I talked to my Gyno about it a few years ago and she too said its not really in the butt area but in our uterine area (even though it literally feels like knives stabbing my bum). She says that it is nothing but trapped gas..When that happens I have to get on all fours or find a position to let the gas out...It hurts so freaking bad sometimes its hard to breathe or move in any position at all but as soon as I find a position to relieve myself, the pain disappears. This usually happens a wk before, during and after my menstrual period thanks to the food I eat (I love green veggies and dairy). I have learned to keep Gas X dis-solvable strips on standby in case this happens but I have not felt this pain in over a year until yesterday...View Thread
