That sounds kind of flippant ... Bleeding that heavy is NOT normal. What kind of tests did they run? Ultrasound? Anything unusual in your uterus, on your ovaries? Unusually thick uterine lining? Fibroids? Cysts?

The manufacturer and the health professional agree - doesn't that reassure you? Even when I started taking BC decades ago it was effective after only 2 weeks.
Remember that the manufacturer has a lot to lose and nothing to gain by lying about when their birthcontrol becomes effective. Trust them. Plan B is not necessary and would only mess up your cycle and cause you even more unnecessary stress.View Thread

Nobody can diagnose you over the internet, we can only give probable and possible causes. The main cause (if you read the preceding posts) is gas or food moving through your intestines. Given how scared you are you should get your parents to make an appointment with your doctor. At very least this will set your mind at rest.View Thread
