I left a message for my MD-just curious if anyone has had this after surgery. Is this consistent with recovery? They gave me 10 darvocet pills, which I finished today, esp. with increased pain-no other medication.
I am hoping to wait until Monday to see Gyn-we literally have NO money for any ER visits-insurance we have is not great.
Thank you!View Thread

Yes, the biopsy was not fun-since I never gave birth (or ever dilated during pregnancy-had c-sections-emergency)-my cervix was sealed shut! it took forever to get through as I grabbed the table. I can't take ibuprofen due to allergies (compromised immune system and allergy-on top of all of this), so I was not having fun.
The path report from the biospy was "negative" according the message left by the office. So, now need to get this polyp out and clean it all up. I was bleeding horribly.
Thank you for your reply and all you do on the boards!View Thread

I am going to have a large endometrial polyp that I will have removed (along with thickened uterine lining) soon. They are doing it via resectoscope/hysteroscopy. I had a hysto years ago, but it is hard to remember how I felt afterwards. Has anyone had these two procedures? If so, did it help and did the polyp come back? I had a uterine biopsy (OUCH is all I have to say about that!) and it came back normal. They also saw a pretty good sized ovarian cyst (i have had cysts/tumors on the ovaries before). I am going to specialist who can perform the resectoscope.
I am 41. Thank you!View Thread
