I get that way when I don't eat at least 25 carbs at one time. I am a diabetic so I have to watch that I don't take in too much or too little.
Since you started Atkins after you started having these problems chances are it is coming from your heart it is good you are calling your doctor today. Keep up posted. DebView Thread

The reason I bought this up is because when one reads online they hear kinds of things - but also my mom passed away at 50 from a massive heart attack, and my dad had 4 heart attacks before he was 60 but passed away from colon cancer.
So heart problems run in my family as does cholesterol problems - that for me is genetic and the need for statins is a must no matter how low my fat content is.View Thread

I have been having a lot of pain in my RUQ as well as lower RQ. They did find distended loops of the intestines. Which my Dr told me about but never mentioned anything about my aorta or my partially collapsed right lung.
If my aorta is normal in caliber is this an okay thing?
I have just had my lipids done and they are total choes is 147 and my A1c is 5.4%. So I guess I don't understand this can you just tell me if I am okay?View Thread

I immediately called my cardio guy gave them the word and they told me to come in no later than Friday. I take it that this condition is serious! DebView Thread

Also on the chest xray they found "interposition of colon between the right hemidiaphragm.
So I guess I will have to take the report with me so there will not be any complications.View Thread

1) I have bilateral small saphenous vein insufficiency. Was told I need to have a procedure done asap called Endovenous thermal ablation: rodiofrequency/endovenous laser.
My vasular surgeon says not to worry I don't need anything done with them. Should I be concerned?
2) In Nov. I had a chest xray done for surgery and my chronic cough - lungs were clear nothing else wrong. At Mayo their chest Xray showed: Mildly tortuos aorta. Should I be concerned about? It just says I need to be watched. Doesn't say what Dr.
Thanks for any and all help.View Thread

My Cardio Dr said I need to go to Mayo Clinic in MN to figure out all that is going on in the whole body not just bits and pieces - so when I told him I already have an appt. in June he said please keep it they will at least give you an answer not a cure maybe a name to this all.
I will have to update you in July when I return from Mayo again thank you. Deb.View Thread

Have you heard that the Autonomic Dysfunction can cause the LVDD? He also said that I do not have CHF I just have a fluid over load caused by the AD, do you know where I can go to get info about these issues?View Thread

I do know that while I was in Pulm. Rehab. while I was sitting and exercising slowly I was okay, but as soon as I went on the tread mill all heck broke loose. BP dropped very low, HR soared and after 3 1/3 mins I could not breathe let alone talk.
I also am dealing with POTS, LVDD and CHF. So no wonder he wants a Stress Echo.View Thread
