My Story:
For some reason I can't edit my old log in, WebMD seems to have lost it.

I had emergency bypass surgery 01/13/2006 for 99% blockages of my LAD and RCA, and 80% in my Circumflex. Another dozen or so smaller arteries had estimated 80% blockages, but all deemed inoperable.

My story is currently saved for posterity in the WebMD archives. WebMD did a cardiac rehab success story of me as its focus in September 2012 issue, page 73.

Rehab felt like a long road at the time. Now my healthy very low fat diet and regular exercise are more my lifestyle.

When I began rehab, it was simply getting up to slowly make it to the bathroom, and then go sit down again. This past year has seen me rowing on the water again, and playing volleyball from 2 to 4 hours at a time at a park or gym.

Not volleyball with old fogies, but with people half my age. I can't jump to spike, and don't dive for balls, but the rest of my game is good. My serve is gaining velocity, losing height, and I get in some aces now and then. I'm improving my game. I get digs and make one hand saves almost no on else tries. My feet may not react as fast as I like, but my arms can, so I have a range 7-8 feet wide I can cover 90% of the time. Having fun, and welcome to play.
