In 2007 I had several mild heart attacks and a triple bypass. I am also a insulin dependent diabetic, and have cronic kidney disease. Last Monday, I went to the emergency room with some chest discomfort, moderately high blood pressure, and high pulse rate (135). My cardiac enzymes were a little elevated and after 4 hours they had increased. I was admitted and the next morning they did a heart cath. One of the graphs from the 2007 had completely clogged up and they inserted a stint and opened up the original artery that had been blocked in 2007. I was sent home the next day but had to be readmitted to the hospital in 2 days for observation because I again had a high pulse (135) and felt very bad. After trying some new medications the Dr. told me that I have significant blockages in all of my arteries and that the rest were too small to be handled with surgery or stents. I am only 62 and just retired. I have to go the the VA Hospital in St. louis. I am really beginning to question my mortality and the Dr. does not appear to want to discuss my future with me. With this much disease I really want some one to answer my questions and tell me the truth. Can anyone speak honestly with me.View Thread
