I got the chills really bad. I remember I prepared for them and wore sweats to bed and am glad I did. I remember feeling like I had the flu with the aches & pains. however that first shot wwas the worst for me and I couldn't imagine it getting worse each week but that didn't happen, thank God. It may be totally different for you, you never know.View Thread
yes, that was on the disabled list. I have the hcv, trigeminal neuralgia, fibromyalgia and herniated disc disease. Of all of it the trigeminal neuralgia is definitely the worst, excruciatingly painful!View Thread
Hi Angels, I understand about working 40 hours. I started out doing that but ended up taking "Intermittent FMLA". That way I could stay home or leave work if I was having a bad day or had a doctors appt. I ended up going on disability. SSA accepted me on my first attempt, which surprised me but I have several health issues though.View Thread
I definitely agree with you about talking to God. If it hadn't been for Him, his Word and my friends things probably would have been much worse. especially since my husband was still drinking and I was still working at the time. I would have to tell myself every morning "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength". I replied to the wrong post. I should have pposted on livefast post saying I agreed with Mike.View Thread
wow, it sounds like the virus moved or progressed quickly in your case. Well i guess I don't know what "normal" is since everyone is different. I went from stage 0 in 2001 to stage 2 with slight scarring/no cirrhosis in 2007. Thanks for your response.View Thread
Wow, I'm experiencing the thrush, dry mouth and taste problems now. I have had the horrible dry mouth for several years and have attributed it to medications I take. I treated in 2007 (Pegylated Interferon/Ribavirin -for 3 mos and was taken off due to non-responder. I don't remember having these symptoms then During tx I lost my taste for anything and sometimes the smell of certain foods made me nauseated and I lost a lot of weight. It makes me wonder now if any of what I have now is related to tx or hepc. I have dealt with sores in the corners of my mouth that start with cracks. my dermatologist told me it was yeast and gave me a cream to put on it that helps but it keeps coming back. in the last couple of weeks, rheumatologist said I needed folic acid and biotin but he also told me it is possible the hepatitis is causing it and wants me to see hepatologist. Sorry this is so lengthy. let me know what you find outView Thread
