I was told back in February of this year I had hep c genotype 3....i didn't have any symptoms my ultrasound was normal and I to only had slightly high enzymes. My viral load was around 390,000 which the doc told me that was really low. I just started treatment last Friday with my first injection. I'm in the military and I do drink on the weekends with friends. The military pays for the treatment so I went ahead with it. The only symptoms I had since the injection was chills for about 4 hours after injection and just some fatigue since then. I just wanted to get it over with and live the rest of my life without hep c virus. I will be done in 23 weeks!!! However in your case I'm not sure what kind of health insurance you have but I have been told by my doc that it cost about 30,000 bucks without coverage.....just out weigh the pros and cons and make a decision good luck!!!! Hello I'm not sure what insivik is can you tell me? I just started yesterday on my treatment and I got the chills for about 4 hours and I feel fatigued. Im scared about losing weight while undergoing treatment, before treatment I was a little underweight. I would say just try to exercise every day for about 20 mins or so nothing to hard like go for a walk or a light jog and no viral load means that your treatment is working well and the antibodies associated with hep c are no longer in your system (IM NOT A DOCTOR LOL) however it can come back but I'm sure you will do fine!
yeah i was thinking the same thing.....I just started treatment yesterday with my first injection but i dont know the stage of my liver I never had a biopsy but my ultra sound was perfect normal liver and pcr was 390000 which i think is low. Im going to stay away from it for 24 weeks KCCOView Thread
