I see so many people with the add on of --DON'T TAKE YOUR ORGANS TO HEAVEN..HEAVEN KNOWS WE NEED THEM HERE!! Do you know something I don't? I'm not being ugly, I'm serious because I have done extensive searching to find some where I can donate my body when I pass, every place I've found say they don't except bodies of people with hep. I realize I can't donate any organs as I not only have Hep B&C but I'm on my 4th trip with cancer but I would like to find some place that would except my body for research. If you know of a place please be so kind as to let me know. I have no family or money to bury or even cremate me so it would be a blessing. Thank you for any responce.View Thread
I didn't have the same experience but I understand how you feel. When I was diagnosed my Dr told me I needed to see a Gastrointestinal Doctor. I called 3 different ones and they all told my they don't see patients with Hep C so I just to heck with it, I wasn't having symptoms so why bother. I have B & C, I was diagnosed with B back in the 70's and I know how I got that (IV drug use) but have no clue how I got the C because I haven't used any drugs since the 70's. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I had a lung removed in 98 and they messed up. I ended up having to spend 4 weeks in the hospital instead of the 5 days they told me. As far as the treatments go, I wouldn't do it anyway. My best friend chose to do the treatments and she has been in and out of the hospital since she started 5 yrs ago, she has developed brain tumors among other things and before the treatments she never had any symptoms. So maybe you're lucky they wouldn't do anything.View Thread
I have Hep B & C, I have no outward symptoms but it seems that medication such as valium and xanax do not work for me. Could this be caused by my liver not processing it into my system? Also if I just so much as bump into a door frame or wall I will have a bruise for weeks. I can't afford to go to a doctor to ask these questions so I'm wondering if anyone else has these experiences due to hep. I would appreciate any info that anyone can give me on this. Thank you....View Thread
