thanks for your response and explanation. I expected your response but was just trying to lower my odds. On occasion if have these small sores in my mouth. don't know if I had them during my exposure. would those sores have to be open and bleeding to be receptive to infected fluids?
Being one of those who is very anxious I could not wait the three months. so at 8 weeks, I took an Elisa HIV test at the doctors office and received my results today---- Negative. I will repeat at 90 days but my doctor feels that he is better than 95% sure my test at 90 days will be negative.
thanks for your help and support during this time. you guys do a fantastic jobView Thread
I know you don't diagnose symptoms, but now week 8 I have a stomach ache and the runs. all other symptoms have gone away, except for the enlarged ball behind my left ear. my question is not a diagnosis but whether ARS symptoms last as long and change over a 6 week period.
just a question related to admiration. I tried to look up Georgiagail's background and didn't find it. however, I am amazed at how she is able to respond to so many questions from so many of us. Last year there was a doctor who helped answer questions, but recently the only responses are from Georgiagail. thank you for helping so many. I don't know how you do it and what background you have to make you so knowledgeable.View Thread
the sex worker tested using an Oraquick test and tested negative. she tested 36 days after my encounter with her. I have read that 3 months is necessary for that test to be most accurate. I am not sure what her exposure if any was before my encounter. anyway my question is how reliable is the Oraquick test she took. Also if three months gets the most accuracy should I wait another 7 weeks to take a test or will the Oraquick test be accurate enough. thanks for your responseView Thread
