I have been misdiagnosed for months and now it appear i either have meningitis or lymes disease. they over the past 5 months have either given me Amoxicilin and Doxycycline, or a z-pack, and one month i was given the meds used to kill trich.
My question would these meds slow down the progression of Meningitis, or Lymes disease since atleast some of them appear to be given to patients who are afflicted with these illnesses?View Thread
I agree I forced them to retest i was correct i have a very large sinus infection and it requires and operation i go under tomorrow afternoon! only issue is that doxycycline and predisone caused my bp to reach 190/80 and i could not breath i was lucky a nieghbor brought me to the ER i would not be alive if had not....... took about a day to get be stabilized and two weeks to get the meds to clear my system. happy to not be dead right nowView Thread
it is i suggested MRSA but all they tell me is that if it was MRSA it would have killed me by now which is not really comforting cause the pain wont go away, and my recent ct scan shows that my sinus disease has spread to the bones which may indicate fungal sinusitis not bacterialView Thread
I would like a medical professional to give me some advice since every doctor I go to seems not to care about finding the problem they just prescribe me amoxicilin and send me on my way it never seems odd to them that I keep coming back with the same problem, yet they ignore me when I asked to be tested for Meningitis, or when they claimed it was all part of my blood work it turns out they never did it at all. I am literally dying I can feel my body beginning to shut down.View Thread
Well its been several months past the window period I would take that as a conclusive negative result. What made you get the test done?.. I had actually several done due to a very cruel lie a past g/f told me. and a test at 90 days is considered conclusive, but OCD ,people like my self have been known to test at 6 months just for sanities sake View Thread
that test the ora-quick-advance HIV1/2 test is accurate at the 90 point post exposure, I myself took the same test, except they used the blood sample option which is one of three options for that test. Did you get this test done at a clinic or a hospital?
the Window period is anywhere from 90-days too 6 months so from my own experince by what i have been told by my physicians that is conclusive, and accurate.View Thread
yes I have had one at the 90 point, and one ate 6.5 month point. Yet i continue to get worse and worse and worse. I also have verified the statuses of my past two sexual partners they both are negative. Thats why i was aking about what i should do about being exposed to it by a hospital where i have had dozens of blood related tests completed where by they also injected dyes and other things in me. I have tested negative for every single known std both forms of HIV, Hav, Hbv, Hcv, Syphilis, gon, clap, trich all of it yet i continue to get worse and worse. The next step logically would have been to check for cancer but they seem to be dragging their feet on actually finding the source instead they like giving me follow up appointments spaced weeks at a time. they have also lost the CT results for my skull so im pretty much i have zero faith in the medical period at this time.View Thread
