So, after oral with someone I found out later was HIV possible back in June. Of course I freaked out. I immediately took a oraquick test and it came up negative. I waited 2 months and took another which was negative. Then I just took one today and it came up negative again. So, with these results and the time that has passed by, it would seem I am ok?View Thread
I don't know who you are, but 125 total replies to this thread which I started is insane, especially since most of them are from you being paranoid when you don't have to be. I say you forget your son and go talk to someone in the mental health profession. I don't mean to be rude, but this has become completely ridiculous. You are not going to believe anything anyone says 100 percent no matter what..I suggest you GET OFF this board and go seek professional help. This is ridiculous.View Thread
Gail is so helpful on these boards. I had the same concerns while I waited for the right time to take HIV tests. I've done three (90 days, 120, 180 days) all were negative, but before that, Gail was so kind and courteous with her responses.
foreveraggie...no matter what anyone says to you, it won't make a difference, so I am sure I speak for everyone, we wish you and you son the best and just TAKE HIM TO A DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!View Thread
Whew. I feel much better now. I will go with the final test results.
Thank you for all your advice on this forum and taking the time to answer our questions. Even though you get many of the same ones, you still take time to answer each post. I can't thank you enough!!!View Thread
I posted here a bit ago about my situation. I received unprotected oral sex from a male on two occasions who I later find out is HIV positive. Of course, I freaked out and immediately took a home HIV test which came up negative. I just took another at the 2 month period and still negative. I'll take another at the 3 month mark. How are my chances tor staying negative?
Thank you to everyone in this community. It's nice to be able to come here and read all the information. Basically, on two seperate occasions, I was given oral by a man who I later found out is HIV positive. It's been about two weeks since teh last encounter and I am concerned that I may be infected.
I did have what I would call a stuffy nose for a couple of days, but other than that, no major symptoms as of yet. Should I get tested? What are the risks? Thanks for any responses.View Thread
You are so right and I would like to say I know you get a lot of the same type of questions. I've looked over the board for a while now and you always answer in a courteous and professional way and I am sure I speak for the board when I say we can't thank you enough!
You are right, I swore I saw rashes last night and woke up this morning with nothing. You realize that you may have done something very stupid and you start to look over your entire sexual history and let's be honest, we all haven't used protection when we should have. It makes you even more concerned.
so for now, I'll just try and relax, wait until the 90 day mark and take a test. Fingers crossed it is negative.
Thank you again Gail and have a great holiday weekend!View Thread
