I have a question about testing, I had a risky exposure unprotected sex with a girl about 9 months ago. I purchased the Oraquick In home oral swab and tested myself 2 times after 8 months past the risky exposure. I followed the directions on the kit and tested 3 months after exposure, didn't eat, drink, smoke, etc... 30 minutes ( i even waited 2 hours without putting anything in my mouth) before test, swabbed upper gum once, swabbed lower gum once, placed the stick in the tube. I waited 20 minutes and then read the result, I had one line next to the "C", NO line next to the "T". Non-reactive (Negative)
My question is:
A) is my result is conclusive?
medically, Do I need to validate the results with a blood test?
C) Can I put this incident behind me and move on?
