As you already know, I am freaking out with this HIV scare. As of Thursday, I have had a tingling feeling in my pinky finger that has not gone away since. Fortunately my neck does feel better, but my appetite has still not returned.
I am still freaking out about HIV and the accuracy of the OraQuick tests. However I am too scared to get a blood test, thinking it would come out positive. Do you have any suggestions to ease my mind?
I'm still somewhat freaking out with my whole HIV scare. There's no way symptoms can come about 4 months later? Because I still have this little swelling in my neck and no appetite. And just don't know what else it could be.
I made the guy take the Oraquick test, too, and he sent me a picture of his negative test result. However I am still unsure! Idk what my symptoms could be otherwise related to! and I can't get this HIV scare out of my head, it's all I think about now.
So you totally believe in the OraQuick at home test 3 months post exposure? That my 2 negatives and his 1 negative can't all be wrong? My only problem is doubting the OraQuick test, I suppose. And being confused about my neck and appetiteView Thread
I guess I am just doubting the reliability of the OraQuick test. and of course I see online the first sign of HIV is swollen lymph nodes. that's pretty much the only symptom I've had, but it's still extremely scary to think about.
I just don't know what else could be wrong with me because I don't really feel sick, it's just my neckView Thread
I am a college student and throughout the course of last year, I had unprotected vaginal sex with 4 men. The last guy I had sex with was in March (4 months ago). About a week ago, my neck became a bit swollen and my throat a bit itchy. I also haven't really had a appetite as of late. I recently got prescribed Anxiety meds because I drive myself crazy thinking I have all these different diseases, but I don't know what else could be the cause of my swollen neck and loss of appetite.
I took 2 at home OraQuick tests and they both came out negative, but I am still experiencing these symptoms so I'm not sure how accurate they could be. I also contacted the 4 men and they all said that they felt fine and have been tested since we had intercourse and were negative, but idk, they could be lying???
