had always worked as a cook and later as a chef throughout high school and college and at the age of 16 I was diagnosed with bilateral Meniere's Disease which can cause a plethora of symptoms but mainly hearing loss, dizziness, vertigo and tinnitus. One of the advisable treatment methods for this disease is a low sodium/salt diet. I have faced many challenges with this disease over the last thirteen years but the easiest has always been overcoming the stigma of a bland diet without salt. My friends and family actually prefer my cooking and I figured I might as well share some of the expertise I have gained over the last 13 years with others. Many people need to follow a low sodium diet including those with hypertension, congestive heart failure or kidney problem. I hope this blog makes your life a little easier and tastier.
