The same thing happened to me. I am still experiencing the cough that doesn't seem to go away. It was a pharmacist that asked me if I was taking Lisinopril. My doctor put me on cough syrups, antibiotics and later Claritin D, suggesting that I have allergies. He never warned me of the common side effects of Lisinopril. I had been taking cough syrups, cough drops and used a cool mist humidifier in my bedroom at night, to no avail. I stopped taking Lisinopril a couple weeks ago and the cough has continued. From what I understand, it can take several weeks and even months for the cough to finally go away. Not very encouraging I know. = (View Thread
