Before that all happened, I ended up with a proper diagnosis, but that is how he explained all of it to me.
If none of this results in any useful information for you, you might want to try keeping a food/symptom journal. There are so many sensitivities and intolerances out there for which there are no standard tests, and you are really the only person who can narrow it down, maybe with some help from your doctor.
I hope you get your test results soon, and I really hope you start feeling better. Please hang around here and see what others suggest, and let us help you out as you get more information.

Just don't worry it too much, but I'm glad you are getting checked!
Of course you are the special 1%. I wonder how many Addison's patients technically have primary & secondary? HA!
Mags - I answered you on the fibro board. Enjoy my embarrassing little story!

I'm sorry about yours. Mine was better today, but I took a quarter of a phenergan before dinner (instead of waiting until the middle of the night in misery), so I've been eating more tonight. Hopefully that will help make up for the lack of eating this past week or so.
I want my freaking PT! UGGGHH! I'm about to lose my MIND that these people can't seem to get it together.View Thread

It's much better today. I'm still popping Zofran and added a tiny bit of phenergan late last night, but my research says that can be coming off the wellbutrin. I hope it ends soon.
My tummy just hates me. I've decided.
But good news - a school friend of DD's (she's not going there after this year, going public in the fall) father is a GI doc. The mom and I have been friendly the past two years, and we like each other a lot, although we haven't been able to really get together...I talked to her a few weeks ago, she's in healthcare as well, so we had an intelligent conversation about AI. She said her hubby would treat me anytime. SOLD. If I need to go back for anything, welcome GI doc #5! LMAO! She said what I've dealt with is ridiculous. I happen to agree!View Thread

I would have called the pharmacy, but I knew I couldn't handle her and take it under normal circumstances, so I really knew I couldn't if it were going to interact and make me more sleepy. Now it's a little late. But I've gone enough now, I'll take an immodium if I have to. I'm at that point. Blah!
I can't believe my stomach still hurts. This is lasting longer than usual. Boohoo...whine whine...View Thread

Every time I have an endo appointment, I need to block off the next day to do nothing but sit at home for potty sprints! I don't even understand it - I wasn't really stressed. But it happens every single time I go see him! I know this is my primary disease, so all things run through him, but I always have a good list, he's a good listener, he does everything I need, it should be freaking therapeutic!
I was up a lot last night in pain, and today I'm going and going. I haven't taken any donnatol since I started all this other medication, so I'm not sure if I can have it or not, or how badly it would multiply the fatigue it usually causes. And tonight I have DD by myself, so it's not really an option anyway.
Is there some sort of therapy for this?

I just didn't want you to think you were being ignored!
By the way, with my limited knowledge, I would think the same thing you do - that antibiotics kill the bad bacteria.

Look on the right hand side of the page under "Tips" and read the "Especially for the Newbies". If you could give us that information, we will try to help in any way we can.
As for the school, if she is in public school I believe they are required, if there is a note from a doctor, to provide home-bound teaching if necessary. Do not put up with any crap from them. Research your state's rules online, call the school board, talk to the doctors, and make them do their job.View Thread

When I had the e.g., I had multiple accidents. Let me offer a little bit of advice - if you are feeling that way, wear a maxi pad pushed back a little further, and that will give you a little more time to get to the bathroom.
Can they give you some donnatol or something to help with the cramps? I can see the Zantac might help with the weird reflux, but you need some anti-cramping medicine.
Mags - Do you think bananas would help some? That usually helps me with diarrhea (binding) and the acid feeling...but I'm not sure if it would make the gas worse?View Thread
