Hi there, I'm an IBS suffer-er as well and a yoga teacher/Pilates instructor. I can tell you that exercise does help me: and I believe that 30 mins minimum of walking per day keeps the bowel and digestive tract working well for me, as does deep breathing. I'm having a pretty bad bout right now due to some stressors, so getting extra rest, adding in pro-biotics, and eliminating coffee are some of my go-to actions. If you want to keep it simple you don't have to exercise HARD: just break a little sweat, at least 5 days a week: vigorous walking, a bike ride, dancing-whatever. If you want to work harder when you walk, wear a weighted vest. Hope this helps! D.View Thread
