In all seriousness, the last time I saw my gynecologist she challenged me with saying, "You can't shock me with anything, I've heard it all". In all fairness she said this in response to another problem I was having, but after hearing her say that I mentioned that I have the issue of my eyes tearing up when I urinate, to which she told me she had never heard of it. I've thought of consulting a urologist, but since I've had it my whole life and it doesn't cause me any pain or other problems, it is VERY low on my list of priorities. If anyone else finds any answers, I would very much like to know.View Thread
every morning when i wake up i get a sudden urge to do number 2 and most of the time i don't make it to the toilet in time. it is getting to the point where it is frustrating. also getting angry or upset about it. i need to know what is causing the problem. is it kosher food or sugar that is causing the problem. a weak digestive system making it hard for the body to create solids when it comes out? if anyone here can help me find a over the counter medication to help me wake up in the morning without accidents that be great. i do eat a lot of kosher food where i live, is that the problem? i live in a boarding home, owned by jewish people. so i myself not jewish. need a lot of help in this area, thank you.

Now Aetna refuses to pay, and our bills are over $100,000! the doctor says "don't worry", but easy for him to say, and his insurance staff will not return my calls. Apparently, they did not pre-certify the procedure, and to make matters worse, the doctor's paperwork says this problem started 3 weeks before he saw her - entirely untrue.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'd be interested to know which insurances pay for this procedure (I know Medicare does), and specifically if Aetna has ever paid it.
Had we known in advance, we could have cancelled Aetna and gone on Medicare. We are both Medicare-eligible.

NOTHING, has helped! Now here is a rundown, I have had only one sexual incident in the past few years, which was in early june and I have had this ever since. Could it be possible that I have an std that cannot be diagnosed due to no Cervix, I have requested a culture of the urethra, and rectum and the doctors just say it's not worth doing because I can't get an STD without a cervix, then why are they doing urine culture for cervical bacteria??? It just not make sense to me, and I am sick of these Dr's not taking a vested interest in my health. They can't figure it out so they say sorry can't help you go see a Urologist, but here's the kicker, 9 month waiting list! What should I do? Any suggestions?? I am wondering if I have IC, or Urethritis syndrome. The only thing I know I I can't sleep, the throbbing is intense and I am in the bathroom every ten mins! URGH! I am seriously at my wit's end!View Thread
I am curious where everyone gets their incontinence supplies from. I usually order online from a website like seniorswarehouse.com or just go to walgreens.
Do you guys find it easier to order online I sure do.View Thread
I wet the bed until I was nearly 16, but haven't had a single issue in 24 years. No amount of alcohol, prescription meds (including sleep aids), lack of sleep, or stress has ever been a problem. Until...
About 6 weeks ago I woke up in a wet bed. About 2 weeks later it happened again. 3 or 4 nights later it happened two nights in a row, and now it's almost every night.
Thank God my wife's an understanding woman. After the 3rd or 4th bout I bit the bullet and bought a bag of "adult briefs," aka diapers. I never thought I'd be wearing diapers again at 40... That's also when I called the doc.
I have no other symptoms. Nothing to indicate an infection. No daytime problems.
I hope this is something simple and it gets fixed in short order... I really don't look forward to hunting season in a cabin with my Father in-law, or upcoming trips out of town with friends at the moment...
Does anyone here have any experience with something like this? Anything specific that I should be looking at?View Thread
I'm a single mom of three, however, only my 10 year old son is still living at home and my oldest daughter is married and expecting my first grandson in September. Even though my son is only ten, he teases me from time to time saying, " Mom when Kolten is born maybe he will let you use some of his diapers! (Laughing)" I know he is only 10, but is still bothers me.
I have been to a Urologist last June and he dialated my uretha, which hurt like HELL, because he said my bladder was retaining about 200cc of fluid and that was what kept giving me UTI's. Since, that I have developed the incontinence, increased visable prollase, and increased discomfort. I have to make another appointment with takes about 2 monts to get in. I just feel I have no options to do until then.
And lucky me this isn't the only health issue I'm dealling with, just the one I feel like b#$%ching about right know. But I so have fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, severe chonromalacia patella and arthropathy degenerative in my left knee and to top it off sever retractable migraines. I just want to turn myself in on the lemon law! I'm a 105 year old woman in a 42 year old body. But, I don't let these things slow me down for my son's sake. I am still very active with his Little League, we go fishing and crabing, camping, swimming, boxing and hiking. It kills me somethime , but he's worth it! Kinda go off the subject, but I love my babies!
I just need some suggestion on what I can do until I can get this situation gets resolved. Any help or input will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you, TammyView Thread
I have developed complete incontinence at night when standing up from bed. Could this be from medication. Do not have daytime problemsView Thread
If anyone out there has any idea what could be the cause of this issue I would be greatly appreciative.
One final thought. Last Wednesday I went to the store and bought a bottle of Cranberry Juice, the half gallon size. I drank the whole jug that day and in the next 2 days drank 2 more. Friday evening I noticed the pain was almost completely gone. over the next few days I had no pain for the first time in about 14 months. today it started up again. That is the only difference I can think of in anything I have done recently so i'm wondering if that made any difference. I plan on drinking more Cranberry Juice over the next few days to see if the pain goes away again and if so will definitly speak to my Dr. about this, but until then am still looking for any thoughts. thank you all very much for taking the time to read this long post and for any thoughts you might have for me on this issue.View Thread
I have urge incontinence. I wear Poise pads currently. At night I wake up at least two times and have to change my pad and sometimes my pajamas and underwear. I have tried the pull up type from Depends, but sometimes those leak too. I am not getting enough sleep and my husband thinks I should just take a sleeping pill and wear a "full blown diaper with tapes". He says it is no big deal to him but it is to me, but I am scared to try a sleeping pill now. The pull ups didn't work when I took a sleeping pill and I often sleep through wetting in my sleep and my husband will have to wake me up to let me know I've wet the bed and that the bed is soaked. I currently don't have insurance so we're just stuck living with this right now. I feel silly saying I don't want to wear a diaper and I don't know what to do. I haven't been getting enough sleep and I have become irritable and depressed. Should I just "Woman up" as my husband calls it and wear a diaper so I can get at least a couple good nights of sleep each week? Or keep doing what I have been doing? It should be noted that after 4-5 days of sleep deprivation I have a tendency to fall into a deep sleep anyway and I will wet the bed 1-2 times when I am that tired. Then I will wake up close to morning soaked and with a major headache.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
