I need advice. I have been ttc for just under a year with no luck, and just now found out from a blood test the bad news - that my thyroid hormone TSH is at 6.2, which is well above the recommended amount <2 and, if pregnant without treatment, can endanger the pregnancy. However I fear I may already be pregnant as I realized I have hypothyroid just after 'making the most' of my fertile week. If I get pregnant before being put on levothyroxine treatment, is it safe to proceed with pregnancy in the hope that the treatment, even if it kicks in a bit late, will still ensure the pregnancy progresses ok? But if I am not pregnant and begin therapy, how long should I expect to wait before starting ttc again? Also, I heard that many women with untreated hypotheroid still manage to conceive, so perhaps my inability to do so has nothing to do with the underactive thyroid? (as only a few months ago my blood test results were absolutely normal and I didn't get pg back then either!). I know thyroid is a grey area in this context, but maybe someone knows something about it... Thank you! xxxView Thread

I had 2 implanon implants back to back 6 years of no periods ( I thought was great and had no ill effects from it) my last one was removed November of last year and my husband and I decided to get out of debt before ttc so I went on the mini pill or whatever the low dose progesterone birth control from then until mid April ... I had no cycles on that ether just spotting occasionally. 5 days after I stopped the pill I had a very light short period, then nothing until July 1 had a very heavy very painful period... Now nothing again... I'm trying to be patient and stop worrying but it is very concerning to me that my body isn't working properly. My gynecologist doesn't want to see me until it's been a year with no pregnancy ... And I just want to scream if I'm not cycling there is no chance of getting pregnant. Again I'm trying to not worry about it I understand people try for years ( God bless those people they have tremendous strength) I am mainly concerned that my body isn't working to even have the chance of becoming pregnant..... I'm 23 and my husband is 25. We both have wonderful careers and we own a house we are ready to take the next step but with my body not working properly what should I be doing ?? Has anyone else had this problem or a similar situation???View Thread

Hello, I'm having a breakdown and need help. I've been with my husband for 6 years, but i had messed up in the past. I'm 21 almost 22 weeks pregnant and the person who did my sonogram didn't give me a conception date and I've been sick to my stomach since I found out I was pregnant. When she gave me a due date I was able to calculate a conception date online. I had unprotected sex with my husband Sunday March 22 and he came inside of me. I had unprotected sex with someone I don't even know on Tuesday, but he didn't cum at all. I had unprotected sexual intercourse with my husband on Wednesday after. And then on Thursday I had protected sex. The conception date I was given online is the 27th of March. I need help to chill my nerves and stop me from throwing up every day. Please do not judge me!View Thread

Hello all, I need a bit of some answers. some info first..normally my cycles are really irregular. and I have started to use ovulation kits for a while. Starting this year I started to use vitex to help my cycles become more normal and for the most part it had worked. My last menstrual cycle was may 19,2015..and july 12th I found out i was ovulating through the ovu test. I was due for my period july 26th (my average cycle is about 68 days) I tested for pregnancy on the 27 & 28 and it came out to be positive. Today I took a digital test to see how far along I am..and it told me I was negative. I rushed to walgreens to pick up another test. since I have used only the non-name brand tests except for today. Well when I used the one I bought this morning it was positive. I am really confused and not understanding this. I did read up on chemical pregnancy but I have no experienced any bleeding. my breasts are pretty swollen and my lower back hurts. any idea whats going on? I am exactly 11 days late. and I have a total of 5 +'s and 1 negative.View Thread

Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant since Janurary, so about 8 months now. Nothing has happened at all. We took a at home sperm count test and it came back positive, so his sperm count is fine. I think it's my fault because of my very irregular periods, does anyone have any advice about what I should do about this problem? Any pills I can take, or anything.View Thread

Is there ANY hope that i can finally get preggers ? I have been trying for months but seems like i miss the mark each time.View Thread

We have a 20 month old and have been trying for a second child (off and on) for about six months now. With our first child, we conceived the second month of trying. I don't expect to get pregnant that quickly each time, but for a few months now my menstrual cycle has been about two weeks late every month, so over a 40-day cycle, which is making it really hard to track and know when I am most fertile. I still have some extra weight from our first child, but I exercise regularly and eat healthy most of the time. I weigh about 130lb and am 5'2. I am just wondering if there could be any other issues going on? Thanks for your feedback.View Thread
