My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the last 3 years. I am 37 years old and have had surgery for endometriosis 2 years ago. I tried two different kinds of fertility meds and with both producing, at least 3 eggs. Still have had no success at conceiving. I don't want to give up yet and am going to try acupuncture and am wondering if anyone else has tried it and what was their experience and if anyone has had any success. I have done lots of reading on the subject and it always talks about acupuncture and IVF and the success of doing both together. I am not doing IVF, so wondering if it could still help or not. Thank You ShellyView Thread
Hi Everyone-my name is Shelly and I am 36 years old. Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for almost 3 years. I have had surgery for endometriosis and my doctor said I had a middle of the severness of endometriosis. I have been on two different types of Fertility medication. I went off of them because they made me very moody and my work didn't like how I was. I didn't think I was that bad but I guess I wasn't. I am going to go back on and try it again. I just feel like I am on the road to disappointment again. I try to stay positive and my husband is extremely positive which sometimes upsets me. He has been tested and is fine. I was wondering if anyone has any other advice on something that might help along with the Fertility medication. Thank You ShellyView Thread
Yes he has been tested and he has nothing wrong with him. Everything with his test came back perfect. So it is all me. It is such a disappointment and frustrating and everything in between. I am not taking the fertility drugs this month to give myself a month to not feel like crap. Probably not a smart thing to do but I guess I also am tired of being disappointed month after month. Well over a year and a half of trying and nothing does nothing for your mental well being. I still hold on to a little hope but not a lot. Thanks for your input, much appreciated. ShellyView Thread
I have been doctoring with the same doctor who works in the Infertility Clinic at the hospital I go to. At the end of December I had surgery for Endometriosis, which was moderate. Three months later I did my first and only cycle of Clomid which produced 3 folicles. Now I did my first cycle of Femara which produced 2 folicles. My period comes right on schedule every month. My doctor said I ovulate but it may not always be right on schedule so I do the home Ovulation Test. It is just so frustrating and disappointing and everything inbetween when you can feel AF is on the way. Everytime my heart breaks. It just seems as though there is no explination to why nothing is happening.View Thread
I did a round with clomid and to no success. My doctor then perscribed me Femara and my body reacted positive to it. I did have headaches and dizziness with it which surprised me when I didn't really have anything when I took clomid. Being a women most of us can tell when are period is right around the corner. Everytime I just want to scream. It makes me so angry. All of the things you are trying to do and it just doesn't seem to matter because her come AF anyways. Always right on time. It is just a disappointment. When you hear and see pregnant women everywhere and wonder what did I do wrong that it isn't happening to me. There are days I just feel like sitting around all day and crying. It sucks so much and I honestly wouldn't wish any of this on my worst enemy. Just needed to vent. Thanks ShellyView Thread
Did one round of Clomid and produced 3 follicle. Well Clomid wasn't right for me because thinned out the Lining of my Uterus. They thought I still may be able to get pregnant and I thought there was hope when my AF was 4 days late but nope it came on the fifth day. I was so dissappointed but shouldn't have expected anything less. Now she prescribed me Letrozole. Just wondering if anyone else has taken it and what kind of side effects you have had and if anyone has had success. Please share with me. Thanks ShellyView Thread
Hi-I am new to these discussion groups but I really need to hear other peoples opinions and success stories. I am 35 years old and me and my husband have been trying for a year and a half now. Five months ago I have Surgery for Endometriosis and was diagnosed with moderate endometriosis. We tried for four months with no success. Tomorrow I will start my first round of Clomiphene 25 mg. I am just wondering if there is anyone who is out there with possibly the same thing with success. When I called my doctor to get put on Clomiphene I was told he wants to talk about IVF. I am totally heart broke thinking she thinks that nothing will work. I am hoping this will work with all my heart. Any feedback would be appreciated.View Thread
