I've had 3 IUI's so far. All IUI's my linning was between a 5.5 and 6. About to do my fourth IUI. If this round doesnt work we are going to do IVF. My doctor says I have a triple layer which is more important than the linning. He doesnt think I need to do anything to thicken it and says I can still get pregnant. He also said he would still do the IVF if my linning is at a 6. Every where I've read it says it should be at an 8. I dont want to do an IVF or another IUI if my chances would be higher with a thicker linning. Its a lot of money for it to be wasted on a thin linning. Just wanted a second opinion. Thank your for your replys.
I'm 34 and fall into the unexlpained infertility catagory. Husband and I have been trying for 3 years. Any advice or opinons would be greatly appreciated!

I just want to let you know not to give up and stay positive. Stay strong as well, I know its even harder when you are a military wife. I refuse to give up and still have Faith that I will become pregnant. Even if we have to do IVF. I wish you the best of luck and lots of baby dust your way! Hope all your test come back fine!View Thread

My fertility doctor said the same thing to me. The actual IUI was ok. A little pain, but not so bad. I was also concerned about the cost, but Tricare actually covered some of it. Its been 2 years since our first two IUI's so I cant really remember how much it was. Havent paid for the third one yet. I want to say it was over $300 but under $500. If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer
Good luck to you and Lots of Baby dust your way

It is normal, only the lucky ones get pregnant right away. They said after a year trying, thats when you should see a fertility doctor. They will check your husbands sperm count and check you to make sure everything is ok. Your age can be an issue also, I think if your over 35 its even harder to conceive. My husband and I have been trying for almost 3 years. We went to a fertility doctor after a year and the doctor said we fell into the catergory of unexplained infertility. I'm also 34 right now. I'm not sure how old you are, but if your under 35 I wouldnt worry. I've been told its normal if it takes you 6 months to a year to conceive. using ovulation strips really help and tracking your BBT helps. Good luck and baby dust your way.View Thread
I've used preseed also and you can find it at walgreens, CVS pharmacy carries Conceive plus. My favorite is Yes Baby. Its all natural and has no parabens. The downside of it is that you can only order it online and its kind of pricey. But to me its worth it, plus they give you ovulation strips with it. I just got my first order. It did take 2 weeks to get it, so keep that in mind if you want it before you ovulate. I would recommend Yes Baby.View Thread

I tried clomid for two cycles. It did not help me and it also thins out the linning of the uterus. This time my doctor is putting me on Letrozole. It works like clomid with out the side effects and does not thin out the uterus linning, it is also out of your system the moment you stop taking it, unlike clomid. I think with all fertility drugs there is a possibility of twins. I believe it is the first step they do for unexplained infertility. IUI with use of a fertility drugs is what they recommended for my husband and I. We have been TTC for over 2 years now. This cycle will be our third IUI but first with Letrozole. Good Luck to you!View Thread

Talking to people that are going through the same thing as me is helpful. It seems like the people in my life dont really understand what I'm going through, with the exception of my husband. He gets just as upset as me when we find out it I'm not pregnant. I always wanted at least 3 kids, now I'll be happy with just one
