So a little about myself. I am 25 married and I have 3 beautiful boys. 8 weeks after the birth of my third i got the paraguard iud inserted. and all was good. in june of this year me and my husband decided to try for our 4th and we want a girl as this will be our 4th and final child. so i got my iud taken out and at the time my doctor said since i had the paraguard i didnt have to wait to start trying. then i deciede to look at all these GIRL DIETS. and i started following one. I didnt eat till noon each day and all i ate was chicken (no red meats) and i ate the rice and raspberries and strawberrys and i even took the vitmen supp. well good news i guess i lost weight from 168 to 147. last month (august) i had my period on august 20th and a week later started ovulation strips and i test my cervic mucus. so i got the 1st postitve OPK reading september 8th and then again the 9th so when i tested and got neg reading on the 10th i figured my ovulation was the 10 or 11th. this would be 11 days befor my expected period. well my cycles are 33 days and i didnt start on the 22. so i took test and it was a neg. the 23 i started and at first i was in hopes it was the implantation bleeding but it is now a heavy bleed so i am just sure its not. I am off my diet now and was wondering if i should start it back up. i was on it for 8 weeks and felt i was starving my body...not many things you could eat... Has Anyone Done the GIRL DIET before? and if so what did you do and how did it effect your body?View Thread
