I am hoping that someone may have some insight. To set the tone, we have been trying to conceive since September 2010, and I have very regular cycles (28-31 avg). I was on my second month of clomid (days 3-7). Day 10 ultrasound showed two 13.5 follicles. Day 13 ultrasound showed that they were no longer there, but my estrogen was very high (1300). Day 15 ultrasound also showed no mature follicles with estrogen at 1100+, and an LH surge. My doctor scrapped the cycle, said my hormones were all over the place and there were no mature follicles for the IUI. I spotted brown and light pink (very lightly) CD18-24. I have never spotted mid cycle before. Fast forward to CD34, and no period. I went in for an ultrasound and labs, and the quantitative pregnancy test was negative. My progesterone was noted as high, which indicated ovulation within the last 7 days, and no cyst activity. I have since tested negative on home pregnancy tests on CD19 and CD42. My question is, how on earth could I have an LH surge on CD16, and then on CD34 be told that I ovulated within the last 7 days? Why would my progesterone be so high for so long? My doctor cannot explain my hormone levels, the spotting, or the delayed period. Their only suggestion is that I start Provera to induce my period. I am unwilling to do this, if there is the slightest chance I could be pregnant. I'd love any insight. Thanks and Merry Christmas!View Thread
