It can be a very long and very frustrating journey. I have actually resigned myself to never having children, and now I am faced with the possibility of it happening. I hope the clomid works for you and that is all you need. I have done so many rounds and I was just going through the motions. I don't want to sound like one of those people that says,"keep hope! It happened for me it can happen!" I am still not sure if it will happen for me, but at least I know something is finally working after 9 years. All I can say is do everything you can to help it along. If you need to lose some weight then do it. I believe that helped me a lot. It may take a few cycles of clomid for it to work, and it may not work at all. But try to put up with the clomid and blood tests and repeat next month. It ran me ragged, but it is a fact when you are at this stage. I hope it works out for you. Oh yea, and try to BD every other day. I hope it works out for you!View Thread

I did several rounds of clomid that didn't work and I was on metformin for about 8 months. I stopped in May because it wasn't working and I was sick. I also did the HSG and there was no blockage. I am currently waiting on my docs office to call and schedule a laparoscopy for sometime in the near future. They are going to do ovarian drilling and hope that works. If not....I don't know what is next. I don't know if he will want to try injectibles or tell me I need ivf. My doc doesn't like to set far off plans or anything really so it is kinda a see what happens thing with me.
I hope you find success soon!View Thread

Basically, if you ovulate and are both healthy and there are no issues, you have a 25% chance of getting pg. Have you talked to your doctor at all? How long have you been trying? Docs generally want a healthy couple to try for at least a year before they will do any fertility testing. It can be very frustrating, and it does seem like it is easy. It can be very difficult though. I have been seeing a fertility specialist for 2 years now and DH and I tried on our own for about 6 1/2. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she says. Good luck.View Thread

Maybe if you saw a different doc it would help things along. Good luck!View Thread
