It took 12 phone calls today (not including all the others) to even start getting my medicine that I have to have by next Tues for my med teaching appt for this cycle to be a go. Apparently my latex sensitivity (a rash after wearing latex gloves for 4 solid hours in anatomy lab) is enough that my whole order got put on hold because the plunger for 2 of my meds contain trace amounts of latex. I couldn't tell the pharmacist it says ok because I'm the crazy lady trying to have a baby and I might put myself in danger to do it. They need to hear it from my RE and want me to contact them so it will be expidited. So I play phone tag at work with limited privacy trying to confirm everything.
Then they call and one of my meds is on back order!!!!! It's the first med I'm supposed to start a week from Thurs. I also do not have a actual amount (just a rough quote before they checked on a few things) that I owe or info on payment.
They go ahead and supposedly ship the rest of my meds, but havent emailed me the tracking number like they are supposed to. There is also no one at home during the week except for Weds to sign for the delivery and I need it all by next Tues.
This is either a huge sign, we don't need to be doing this or a huge test to see if we are committed.
If you made it to the end of my exhausted rambling vent, thank you. Hope all of your cycles are going ahead smoother than mine. Baby dust to all.View Thread

6 Failed IUIs 1/11-8/11- All BFN
IVF 1- 11/11 Only 1 embryo :-( BFN
IVF 2- 12/12 Severe OHSS- Transfer cancelled
FET 1- 2/12 BFN
Unexplained Secondary Infertility
Does anyone have some pointers for a successful FET? I'm looking into the possibility of adding acupressure this cycle, but I would love to hear any other ideas that you may have. Does anyone know why some people eat pineapple around transfer time? TIA
I hope it works out next time- I am getting so discouraged! We only have enough embryos for 2 more transfers and we are out of money, so in the next 2 months or so things will be over for us either way.View Thread

It all started back in Sept 30, 2009 when i had my tubual ligation reversal done. It was a success, so we thought when i got pregnant two months after the surgery, but just one week after finding out I was pregnancy, I missed carried. I don't know the cause and it still bothers me.
After a year of trying on my own I returned to my Gyn who did the surgery and started Clomid (6 rounds). Yeah it helped with ovulation but no baby. We did an hsg and how out that only one side is open...
This is the third year of trying to conceive, I am finally calling it quits, the gyn said no more drugs, no IUI ( wont work with one). I have been told that my only chance of conceiving is to have an IVF done, which I can't afford.
has anyone else gone this long since a miscarriage and not gotten pregnant?View Thread
We then again two months later tried a Fresh cycle and i came up short on producing eggs. Last cycle was 11 (2007), (2010) only 4 only 2 viable but still no luck with a two transfer on day 5.
So here we are again trying another fresh cycle and it comes up that my ovaries are OLD the Dr tells me. I am 29, and the Dr tells me i have ovaries of a much older women. All my blood work was good except for the one level they now check for ovary function. Mine was below 1 which is where they want it. So i dont know what this means for us but we did sign up for the PDG testing. Anyone have similar issues? or hope that im not done having kids at 29
.I am currently taking DHEA and CoQ10 ?????

First IUI 12/03/2011 = BFN
Second IUI 02/01/2012 = BFN.
Please use this thread to tell everyone your status, i.e. where you are in your cycle, what meds you've taken, things that make this cycle different, and what procedures you're undergoing. It's a nice reference for everyone!
Good luck and baby dust to all!

But with the start of this cycle and it starting out brown (meeting the old cysts are being shed) I may have a shot at cycling. But I am not getting my hopes up, just to have them dashed again. Tomorrow morning, I will wake up have a bowl of ceral, take my vitamins, do my yoga and then go to my massage appointment. While I am there, I will walk down the hall to my RE to let them know that I have started and make my appt for Wednesday.
Once I get home, I will have another bowl of ceral and go for a light walk on the treadmill before preparing a late lunch snack with frozen berries. Hopefully with some good news on Wednesday, I can get back on the healthy path to help prepare for our child. But as of right now, I am just trying to relax and stay focused on getting the needed rest I need. With school, life, interning and all of this, you do not realize how worn down you become until you can no longer push yourself and ayour drinking redbull, starbucks coffee and soda just to have some energy to get through the day.
Heres to me and all the ladies starting a new cycle and making another attempt for the ultimate goal of MOTHERHOOD.View Thread
