Did they find something on your HSG? I have a blocked rt fallopian tube they found just over a week ago, had to wait a week for the doc to call me with the results since he was on vaca. Well I call today and he says he wants an appointment to discuss the results and can't get me in until april 16th, which puts me just before O next cycle. I'm super disappointed and angry! Of course theres a chance I could be pg now, fingers crossed but I'm really disappointed in this. Did your doc do the same? My hubby leaves for training for a month, so if the doc opts (which I want) for LAP either I have to postpone until he returns or ask a family member to come stay with me since I don't live near family that isn't ideal. Anyhow, I'm just curious and frustrated and wondered about your experience... I really just want the surgery asap since my DH deploys later this year... Ugh this process is draining. I am hoping this fixes all your problems, hope to hear from you soon!

Hugs, prayers and baby dust your way!View Thread

thanks for all your encouraging words ladies! Hugs to you all!View Thread

The doc couldn't tell me what the blockage was. It could be a number of things... Waiting til next week to talk to my OB is killing me! There are several surgeries I could have to fix it, depending on the problem. It just sucks to have half the chance as a normal woman and on cycle 6 of Clomid it's hard to be optimistic. I hope after I hear from my OB next week that I'll feel better once we have a plan laid out. I just don't want him to say, well lets try with half the chance for a few months before considering surgery to clear them. I haven't had a pos OPK yet (should've happened Mon or Tues) so I think this month is out and my hubby is gone for a month next month so I'll loose out on two cycles then. This process is taking so long and is draining... sigh...View Thread

and so I think there was an imbalance somewhere and it's corrected it. You'll want to ask about your progesterone levels too. My advice is to just talk about it. Bring it up in a way like you know today I read this that and the other or so and so recommended this or that, what do you think. Hopefully it'll allow you both to open yourselves up to one another and he has to be willing to be vulnerable. I know my DH was so proud when I got pg in Oct bc we've tried for so long he felt masculine I guess. And when I mc'd he was more sad for me than for himself. I had to shed a lot of tears and a lot of emotions for my DH to fully grasp how much everything affected me and for him to understand that I needed him here beside me, mentally and physically on the same page. Make sure you ask the doc too for as much in writing this way you won't forget, it won't sound stupid I promise. Ask about sugar levels, family history, his family history, other options of medicines like Clomid. It could be something as simple as timing sex, which if that gets stressful hit him up in the morning, his testosterone levels are higher and he won't be so worried about performing. I hope that helps!
