My DH and I met with our RE yesterday, and we are hopefully going to get things going faster than I thought we would. AF is supposed to start tomorrow, so if all goes well we will be going to Grand Rapids next tuesday for a Mock retreval, a SHG, and to meet with the IVF nurse. Our RE wants to do Long Lupron Protocol, so we will be looking to start Lupron on April 4th, and an egg retreval around April 30th.. if I did the calculating right . I'm very very very new to all of this, so I could be wrong lol. It's weird to be praying for AF when we've hoping AF didn't show for over a year now!View Thread
She is hiding well! I schedule my sono for March 27th, so she better get here soon! I know stress doesn't help, but it's hard to not worry. I took a test this morning, but naturally it was negative...View Thread
Thats awesome news! I'm waiting on AF... I was supposed to start today and of course I didn't. If I had started I would have called the RE's office and scheduled my sonohystogram and mock retervial for next Tuesday.. but now I will have to wait another week. What type of treatment plan are you doing? I'm very new to all of this... we just met with the RE on Tuesday, so everything is moving really fast for us View Thread
Well, I'm not sure where to begin... I'm very new to all of this. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 13 months with no luck. On the 13th we are going to see a fertility specialist because we found out my husband has very low sperm counts (1.9 mil.). What can I expect at my first appointment? My OB seems to think we are going to have to jump right to IVF. I'm ok with this idea, but my husbands not so sure. I've been trying to talk to him about it, but he doesn't want to talk much about it until we hear our options.. I'm afraid he is going to be so overwhelmed when we get there that he's going to freeze.
Thanks for all of your help! We're goin to do a second semen analysis this week to see if anything was maybe off when he did the first one. I've checked with my insurance, and they, of course, don't cover much. I'm prepared for the bills to roll in.. I just want to be as prepared as possible to get pregnant as soon as possible!
