Have you tested today? You should be at 15dpo today (Saturfay), right? I saw some ladies said that they didn't get a positive until a few days past their expected period day, so it can be very random. Don't lose hope yet!!
And well, yes. If you're not pregnant you'll eventually get your period. It sucks that you're irregular cause, indeed, makes it harder to predict when your next O will be, but I'm sure you're RE will discuss options with you. Hey, you had 3 folicles so there's a good chance he'll suggest you try another few rounds of IUI.View Thread

And right, I thought that was the case for you, 2 successful IUIs is a great track record!!! I'd stick to that, especially given the cost of IVF !! We are also paying OOP for our IUIs and if I do a 'full IUI cycle' with Clomid, 2 back to back IUIs and trigger shot, were at about $1500-1600.... This month I did only one IUI and no trigger shot and we were at around $600. I have no idea how much IVF would cost at our fertility clinic here in LA but I wouldn't be surprised if the cost is close to yours. But I was hoping/imagining it to be around 10k... So I hope it's not 25k. Wow. That's a LOT!!!!
Anyway, so Monday we'll see what happens. The RE already said that, at a minimum we can up my meds next month to include shots and Clomid (get more eggs), but I'm not sure if I want to do that or go straight to IVF. Sooo, the plan is, if its a BFN again, I'll go talk to him and see what IVF would cost and so on..... He does think we have all the right factors to get pregnant via IUI and he's hopeful, so we shall see. I must admit though, if its up to me, I'd probably just do IVF next month....View Thread

I'm so sorry to hear that!!! I went through the same disappointment last month. I didn't have time to come check in on you yesterday but I just woke up, it's 6.20am and I was hoping I'd see you had a BFP
But like LLM said, "don't lose hope until you are red".I read that MOST women show positive around 12dpo, but some can take up to 15dpo to show the hormone and get a positive!! So yeah, I guess wait a day or two and test again. You never know. But yes, please be prepared for this not being your month, just in case.... IUI increases our chances by a little but, but the odds are still quite low and they usually say you need to do 3 cycles or so on average to get pregnant.... Hugs! AmyView Thread

24 hours countdown for you!!! Can't wait !!View Thread

and even more that you need to take a month off to recover from the issue you had. It's just so hard to wait the 2WW, having to "lay off" for a whole cycle must really be difficult!!I saw you've attempted quite a few IUIs this year. Sorry about your m/c
How many cycles of IUI are you guys planning on doing? I'm guessing that because you managed to get pregnant through IUI, it makes sense to continue on that route? I ask because I myself am trying to figure out how fast to move forward with IVF treatment....Thanks and rest well!View Thread

Last month I had two follicles, one at 18 and one at 21... and did the shot so theoretically, they both should have released eggs. This month I had a 15 and a 27 (!!!) , but didn't do the trigger shot
but at least the 27 should have released. So there should have been one egg for sure.
My lining was a bit thinner than last month, though, at 8.5 (versus 9.5 last month) even though I was (still am) on oestrogen....How about you?? What were your numbers?
I'm so excited that you're testing in 2 days!! That helps me keep my mind off my own countdown, which is still at D -7 !!!View Thread

I hope you find out what it is!View Thread

Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to answer in so much detail!!! I'm glad to hear they can get you on an IVF treatment without the month on BC prior. I really don't like the idea of losing a month!!
I'm so happy you're already at 28w5d along, that is just so awesome. And a boy and a girl, how perfect! So glad all your efforts and commitment to getting pregnant gave you a double reward, you guys deserve it!! I read your other post to someone about how you made budget cuts and all that in order to pay for the IVF, plus now reading the drive you had to endure... I'm tellin ya, those babies are going to be some lucky babies to be born from you guys!!!
How many weeks are considered full term for twins again?? I know it's less than with singletons a little bit....How has your pregnancy been so far?? Are you HUGE or is it manageable ?? And so glad to hear the twins and you are well! I hear complications with twins are common, I guess the doctor is trying to scare me into trying 'more naturally' for a little longer but I really have thought it through and am willing to take the risk sooner rather than later. My RE also said that if this IUI cycle doesn't work, we can do injections instead of Clomid so that I'll "for sure have 2-3 follicles / eggs", and that "it's not certain how much Clomid helps in cases like mine" (meaning, I ovulate normally (or so we think, as I wasn't really tested for anything other than anatomical review and lining measurement and follicle count).... So I was a little upset cause it seems as if the Clomid I've been taking may not have helped increase the number of eggs released at all, and that it could be that without it I would have had the same result. What the hell, so why was I taking it?!! Anyway..... Sorry to rant but this all was Wednesday at my IUI appointment and I'm still upset about it.
So did you try IUI with injections as well? What were you told? I do want to give IUI a 'proper' try but am worried that we now lost 2 cycles already if it doesn't work again....View Thread

Good luck with your cycle this month!View Thread
