I am 59 and have been diagnosed after getting one of those painful hideascan (not sure of spelling) procedures, and it was discovered that I have some kind of a bile obstruction and my gallbladder has stones that at the moment does not seem to be causing a problem.
However, I await to see a surgeon to hopefully remove the gallbladder. Also, the scan showed I have kidney stones that do not appear to be causing any problems.
One thing I am concerned a bit is this: For about 4 days, I have developed on my left back a very painful area that I believe is my kidney causing this. I have not had no discoloration of urine, no fevers, and have had to urinate when I get up in the mornings about 4-5 times a morning with no pain while urinating. The only problem is I hurt so bad on my lower backside where I think is the kidney area.
My doctor has told me that possibly after some blood tests were performed, I may have cancer either in my bladder or my kidneys and thinks an ultrasound may indicate this diagnoses. So I wait for this to be done.
If my left kidney is painful all the time, it is painful to walk and no other symthoms, what could this be?View Thread
