I hope you can find a facility near you and try this. I am sure it will help.View Thread

Any suggestions on this from anyone out there? Anyone have similar problems or what can be done next? Ladiehawke obviously needs advice on what to do next. I love my orthopedic surgeon, always have and now, more than ever. He is so thorough and while I have never had to go back to him after my two hips or knee replacements, other than normal checkups, I know he would never just ignore any problem I might have. I have recommended many of my friends and family members to him, and they totally agree with me.
Again, lets see if we can help ladiehawke in some way, advice, suggestions. etc.View Thread

I am sincerely sorry for what you are going through. Seems to me that something is really lacking here in your care. Please followup in all possible ways and insist on some answers for your problems. Let us know how you're doing. We do care here.View Thread

So, your body has been through a lot, even before the surgeries, like you said. I hope the warm sun in the Dominican Republic will help somewhat. And while you may want to take it easy, you have to keep moving. If you don't, you might have other problems. And I know what I'm about to suggest may seem kind of ridiculous, please try to think positive. This has helped me so much so please, use positive thinking and I feel this will also help some of your symptoms. We have to learn to deal with what we're dealt, sometimes it's good and other times not so good. But until you see your Dr. in April, do you best to accept it, thinking positive, and soak up that wonderful sun.
Keep us updated on how you're doing. We do care on this site.View Thread

We have the "silver sneakers" with our insurance also, and while I had my first THR 8-1/2 years ago, TKR 8 years ago, and my latest THR on July 16, 2012, I still use the pool at our Y and it has made all the difference in the world. It was recommended by my physical therapist when I finished my pt right after the latest surgery.
Think positive, do your regular exercises as recommended by your therapist, and, water therapy is the greatest.View Thread

Please think positive. This is so important, because thinking negative can really get your spirits down. Now I know that might be easier said than done, especially when you are coping with pain and feel you're not progressing as you should be. But positive thinking got me going on the right track, and this was recommended to me by my surgeon and his physician assistant. It worked for me. Please give it a try, OK?
Keep us informed on how you're doing. We are interested on this site and want to encourage you as much as possible.
God bless.View Thread

I had THR replacement of my left hip 8 years ago with no complications and my latest THR of my right hip was just 6 month ago, 7-16-2012, and again, completely happy with the results. Unfortunately, there are some surgeries that just do not turn out as well as we would like. I thank God I am one of the lucky ones who has no problems. But I do sympathize with any of you out there who have had different outcomes from their surgeries. Again, I do know it happens.
Hopefully this new medication will give you the results you expected from the original surgery. Sounds like you're on the right track.
Good luck, and please keep us posted on how you're progressing, OK. And God bless.View Thread
