I had my right knee relaceg a little over 2 years ago Sept.27
2010 and it took the doctors almost 2 years to find out that my
body was rejecting my hardware.I had severe rashes and inching all over my body, and I was allergic to the metal call
Maganisee.I also had nerve damaged from the first surgery,
that put me in that rear 1% braket.I just had my second surgey for replacement of my right knee, three weeks ago on Oct.17
2012 I was told by my doctor the day after my surgery that I now have muscle damaged,he thinks from my first surgery.
The second surgery is worse then my first surgery because
they had to go deeper into my bones with the spikes to get a
tighter hold for my hareware. So it's takaing a longer time to
heal. This is my last surgery and I just have to live with
what i got.I hope your husband second surgery comes out good for him and I will pray for him...........GOD BLESSView Thread

far as the or when the doctors postpone my surgery to replace my

I got sick and it was to risky to do the surgery.I hope everyone in here are doing better god bless LynnView Thread

knee has been real tight too.Iam i and half yrs post surgery,
The first week after surgery i broke out with severe inching all over my body and everytime i would scratch,it would get
worse. This happen about 7 different times and the doctors
gave me some meds.and it went away until 5 months ago,my right knee broke out with a severe rash and my knee swell up on me.The doctors did a skin test and i was negative to
fungus and was sent to the allergy doc.who did an allergy test
and they found i was allergic too a metal call magangise which i had only 1% in my hardware. After my allergy test with the
patch my body broke out all over my body. The doctor give me meds.to contol my rash, and when i stop using it i start breaking out all over my body. They did an nucalar bone scan on my right knee and found i have a svere infection inside my bone
and they say its from the hardware in my knee.Well now i'am on the waiting list to have my knee replace with new hardware.
They tested me last week to make sure iam not allergic to it,but
iam fine so they are going to replace my knee with this
new hardware.I told my doc. about 2 weeks after my first
surgery if i could be allergic to my first hardware in my knee
and my doc.told me no,that it is very rear for someone is allergic to their hardware after surgery, well i'am their first
case and now i have to start all over, thats life and it is better
now then when i got too old.Take care everyone and remember we are all in the same boat to vegas lolView Thread

If i was you i would get a second opion from another doctor. If you wait to long you could end up very sick or worse.I am allergic to manganise meta,l my hardware in my knee only has 1% but i been having severe reaction to the metal.Today i found out from the second doctor from an referal that he
agrees with my doctor and the hardware in my knee has to come out.I too have the simpons like you have and also feel
sick to my stomack even though i am not sick. Some times i have to force myself to eat. They also just did a bone scan in my knee in nucalar med.and foung that i have lots of imformation inside my bone from the matal managise.Your doctor sounds like a quack.Look for another doctor before its
late.Take care and please let me know what happens LynnView Thread

I also heard about the cement and I told the allergy doctor about the cement from the studies from the internet and he never heard about it.Well when he did the testing for the metals in my knee he also did the cement test after the metal
test.I came up negative for the cement thank god.You should call your doctor and tell him about the cement and you want
that tested as well.I didn't want to have another knee surgery, only to learn that I was postive for cement and needed another surgery no way.Better to be save then sorry, take care and please let me know what happens LynnView Thread
