Hi all. I'm 39, bone on bone w my knees, lots of surgeries to stabilize y patella etc. So I'm stable now but the pain. Is unreal. My doc is trying g to bide me some time w orthovisc before a tkr.
I got my first injections on Friday at 10 am and by 12, I had excruciating back pain. Is this typical? It's three days later and I'm still sore in my lower back. Not as bad but scary! It was almost a flu like pain. I thought I must have hurt myself at the gym but I didn't wake up with pain. I saw online that back pain is a side effect. Has anyone else had this? It really freaked me out!!!
The doc said I wouldn't feel results from the first shot but I have to say I don't hear the crunching since the shot
