My right leg is about 2 inches longer than my left and kneecap looks like sticks out more than left and appears more pointy. Most of the inequality is between the thigh area between hip and knee. Always ran 1 mile at-3 incline at 4.0&7.0 pace on treadmill at gym since 1/20 when I started there. 10/7 up my running to 2 miles, then on Thurs. felt pain in knee just below knee cap. Also have pain when knee is bent a long time. Have worn an adjustable open patella knee brace for a week while at gym(still running my 2 miles) and work only. any ideas on what I could have? No insurance so can't see doc as it would cost too much. should I see doc, if so what kind? Does my leg length inequality make a difference for my knees?View Thread
I work for a local McDonald's. April 2012 had severe knee pain when leg was straightened. Wore brace/iced knee nightly for a week, pain went away. When I Workout, I run a mile on treadmill at 5.0 pace. last night at work felt moderate pain in right knee while doing my job at work. it felt like I could not bear any weight on that knee a little. When I went to workout last night t wore knee brace & iced it all night. Right now there is hardly any pain.
Should I go get this checked out? Who should I see PCP? Currently no insurance and no PCP, use quick care at my doctor's office so I see different doctors each time I go there.View Thread
