Hi, Isee not too many people are on here so I figured since I went through the same procedure I would touch base. I know how it feels when you want some advice and no one responds. I hat the worst luck. Anyway, in April of this year, I had a lobectomy, I am assuming your husband is having the same thing? It really isn't bad at all. I recuperated quite quickly, I was suprised. The lungs heal quick. The only scary thing was waking up in recovery and not being able to breathe so they just hooked me up with oxygen. Pain was moderate but they give you morphine. How does the future look, does he need chemo or any other further treatment. I was told I would be done after removal of tumor and lobe of lower right lung. Nope. That didn't happen, a misread Petscan and lymph nodes that had been cleared previously were now found to have microscopic cells so off to chemo I went. It has been rough but that is a whole different story. Keep in touch, I would like to hear how he is progressing. ShelbyView Thread
