MY BROTHER IS 58 YEARS OLD AND WAS TOLD HE HAD LUNG AND STOMACH CANCER BACK IN JUNE! HE HAD TO GO TO A NURSING HOME AND WHEN MY SISTER WENT FOR A MEETING THE DR SAID HE HAD 2 TO 6 MONTHS TO LIVE AND IF HE WAS LUCKY MAYBE A YEAR,BUT HE SAID HE DIDN'T THINK THAT HE WOULD LAST PAST 6 MONTHS, THEY NEVER STARTED CHEMO OR ANYTHING, TOLD HIM IT WASN'T AN OPTION TO LIVE WITH ANYONE! NOW MY QUESTION IS WHY NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY SAY HE COULD LIVE WITH SOMEONE? BACK IN DECEMBER HE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND THEY SAID HE HAD PNUEMONIA, THEN IN JUNE HE TURNED FOR THE WORSE AND THEY FOUND THE CANCER AND WAS SENT TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL AND FOUND OUT IT WAS SMALL CELL CANCER! U WONDER SOMETIMES! PLEASE IF SOMEONE OR SOMEONE HAS OR KNOWS SOMEONE THAT HAS SMALL CANCER AND CAN GIVE ME SOME IN PUT AND HELP ME UNDERSTAND ABOUT MY BROTHERS CANCER?View Thread
YES THIS SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY BROTHER IN DECEMBER HE TOOK ILL AND WAS TAKEN TO THE ER AND THEY ADMITTED HIM SAYING HE HAD PNEUMONIA ON HIS LEFT LUNG AND THEN HE GOT SICK AGAIN IN JUNE AND THIS TIME HE WAS HAVING CHEST PAINS AND WHEN THEY DONE A BUNCH OF TEST THATS WHEN THEY TOLD HIM AND MY SISTER AND I THAT HE HAD SMALL CELL CANCER AND BY THEN IT HAD ALREADY SPREAD TO HIS STOMACH,AND NOW HE IS IN A NURSING HOME AND THEY ARE NOT GIVING HIM CHEMO OR RADITATION. I WILL PRAY FOR U! PLEASE KEEP MY BROTHER IN YOUR PRAYERS! THEY GIVE HIM 2 TO 6 MONTHES! IF HE IS LUCKY MAYBE A YEAR! DID THEY SAY WHAT TYPE OF CANCER YOU HAVE?
