Larger studies will be needed to determine if the drug is truly safe and effective for patients who do not respond to other treatments. In previous small studies concerns were raised that treatment with lenalidomide may be linked to an increased risk of progression to full-blown lupus.

- Favorite Holiday Memory
- Favorite Toy from Childhood
- Favorite Holiday Meal
- Favorite Gift You Have Given or Received
- Favorite Thing That Brings You Comfort
I'll start -
Memory - Christmas Eve's in Ybor City with my father's family. Lots of family, great food, and so much going on a breaker would blow. The adults would tell us it was Santa's elves getting things ready on the roof.
Toy - Barbie Air Plane. Wish I still had it for my daughter.
Meal - Christmas Eve - Pork, black beans, yuca, cuban bread, Brozo Gitano. Christmas Day was my mom's German heritage - Klubs (sp?), mash potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, Poppy Seed Cake.
Gift - Proposal and engagement ring on Christmas Eve 14 years ago.
Comfort - Curled up on the couch with slippers, blanket, tea, and my family looking at the Christmas tree in the house I grew up in.
Who's next?

Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years... seems like the challenge of managing continues on and on!
I can't imagine adding the symptoms of lupus to this fun, stressful and overwhelming time of year.
My only suggestion (only speaking as a tired, busy, mom) is online shopping. Does anyone spend more time online than in stores these days?
Keep suggestions coming,

We're happy to announce the launch of a new tool here at WebMD that we think our members will enjoy -- WebMD Answers .
While community is a place to get to know your fellow members and experts on a deep and supportive level, sometimes folks just want to ask a question and receive an answer. That's what WebMD Answers is all about.
Do you have friends that you've tried to get to join you here in community, but they feel they don't have the time to spend? Maybe Answers is a tool they can use for quick access.
Anyone can ask a question, and anyone can answer a question. Experts, partner organizations, staff and moderators will also be responding to some questions.
We invite you all to go in and check it out today. If you have any questions about this new tool, post them here and we'll try to help you out.
