Although until very recently, it was thought that gluten-intolerance without a positive test for celiac disease was on the low end of the sensitivity spectrum, it has been shown that gluten intolerance and celiac disease are two separate conditions (though gluten intolerance is also probably an autoimmune condition). Gluten intolerance doesn't cause the degradation of the intestinal lining like celiac disease, but still causes many of the same symptoms including fatigue, aches and pains and neurological problems.
