I've had friends who done acupuncture treatment with great success, I'm weaning myself off gagapentin and cymbalta and trying herbal for pain and if it gets too bad for me (the pain), will do acupuncture. Tell you one thing, it sure won't hurt to try.
The acupuncturist I will be going to is also a licensed herbalist, who study's eastern chinese medicine.
It's worth a try to look into it, best wishes,

I have also have been having problems with my throat, feels as if something is stuck there. Perhaps it's swollen, I have been developing pockets of plaque which makes me feel sick. Have you experienced that??View Thread

Is the medication only taken when when having migraines or to be taken everyday... I know, dumb question.
I have not been feeling good lately, I don't know how tell if my pain is lupus or fibro, every time I talk to my rhuematologist he says it's my fibro thats active. But my forehead hurts really bad and my butterfly rash is so present and it constantly burns. Is this a sign of lupus being active??View Thread
