My name is Judy..I have seen many doctors and had many tests, bloodwork..etc as I am sure most of you have too..For over three years, I have searched and suffered to finally get a diagnosis of SLE in June.
Most of my symptoms have been neurological and it was thought for almost two years that I had MS but there were never new lesions. Have old ones and all symptoms of MS..fianlly was told I have lupus and it is affecting my brain and CNS..Not real happy..had pretty much accepted the MS diagnosis..I have learned in the past couple of years we cannot always control what comes our way but we can control what we do with it.
Now, by no means do I mean to make this sound easy but I have made up my mind that I will fight with everything in me and trust my Bible as it teaches me to live in today and not to worry about what might happen tomorrow. Whatever comes tomorrow, God will help me deal with it then.
I have had many days when I was so tired I could not get out of bed, and that on the way to work..I would try to make a redlight so I would not have to move my foot from the gas pedal to the brake. I am taking Plaquenil right now (for the past three months) and I am told it will take awhile to work so I am trying to be patient. I will say I am not as fatigued. I have alot of nerve pain, dizziness, headache, foggy feeling, skin rash, tingling, etc and I just try to make the best of the good days. (not many right now)..
Hoping it will continue to improve and wishes you all God's blessings.
