Yes!! I too, have mini flares every time my period is on its way. I have read that they are currently seeing the relation of the two. Estrogen has a huge role in lupus. Just do a search and you will find loads of information. I am 29 and for the past two years I have been noticing abnormal behavior in my body. They "diagnosed" me as having RA but recently I have noticed my period playing a huge role in how Iam feeling. Two days or so prior I notice that I a running a higher fever than normally, and my hair loss is much greater. This morning I completely forgot I took my vitamins, it was like a time lapse. As though I never took them but I stewed on the memory and indeed I had taken them. Iam also "missing" food. I make smoothies every morning and I try to take note to how much fruit/vegs I have left in the fridge. The next morning, there is less than I remember. A lot less and no one ate it. I also have issues with my bladder. It's like something is blocking me from peeing all out and the flow vetoes from strong flow to weak flow. My heart skips beats and flutter. This flare Iam having right now has cause pain in my lungs when breathing in. Idk but I wish I had health insurance so I can get the help I need in order to get back to work. I can't even get ssi because you need to be diagnosed. Yes, even today our government programs that were put in place to help the people has ways to get out of doing it. The loopholes need to be closed.View Thread
