Thank you Dr.Venuturupalli...nice to see a doctor in here! This is a first for me at age 71. I have never heard what you say about this manifestation in Lupus. It is so horrible and can hardly stand it another day. When I talk to my g.p. again, I will tell him what you say and your recommendation about it. Again, thank you. LindaView Thread
Yes, am new here. Have SLE, Sjogren's and hypoglycemic/ diabetes. I have suffered with night "soaks" and daytime "soaks" too. I call them "soaks" because it is pure water, no odor like perspiration!! Thank God, or I would have to shower everyday!! I am 71 year old female, and have survived 2 breast cancers, and uterine cancer, so I guess I am a "survivor"??But with agonizing pain and so many other debilitating symptoms, this "water works" is literally driving me nuts. I took a drug called Bellamine back with uterine cancer, a nurse prescribed it, and it totally went away for a long time, and can't remember how long? But they discontinued making this drug!!! Having severe memory problems along with everything else. We had a compounding pharmacy try to duplicate it, but whatever they compounded, it did not work for me like Bellamine. Have you are anyone else in here, getting any relief, and if so, what are you taking or doing? I just remembered something I think might be important, that the Bellamine was originally used to help migraine suffers. Have left an SOS for my g.p. today, and asked if he might think of something to help me out here, as I can't stand it anymore. Am waiting for a return call, but it being a Holiday weekend, don't expect a call back until Tuesday. Thank you for listening. LindaView Thread
