Hi Mitz, and everyone else. I do have a very bad case of fibro on top of lupus and spinal arthritis. I would suggest getting a referral to a neurosurgeon or ortho spine surgeon/specialist to have MRI done of the neck. These symptoms I had for many years then one day they came severe and never got better. I had arthitis and spinal stenosis in my neck and injections, meds, PT, nothing helped. I had to have a two level fusion surgery at C5-6, and C6-7. I had the same symptoms. Also your shoulder could be rotator cuff tendonitis, I have that to and cannot rotate my left shoulder at all. Injetions do help that for me. But a lot of the pain could be pinched nerves in your neck, or spinal cord could be pinched like mine was. Google spinal stenosis, cervical. Spine universe is also a good site to visit. I hope this helps some. I still have problems because mine is arthritis and it is degenerative so it continues to get worse. Better to get to a surgeon for diagnosis and care plan sooner than later to maybe avoid surgery. Getting the muscles strong is important but a sureon is best to say what to do. Going to surgeon does NOT mean surery, they are the best experts to tell you what to do. Surgery is always LAST resort, and if surgery-get 3 opinions.View Thread
Hi. I have been really unwell and not on the computer much at all. I am swelling up like crazy, like 10 pounds of fluid or more at a time. Tonight I am finally so-so. But have been sleeping for 2 days straight. Here is the link to the LFA boards, I finally got in there thanks to Sharon!!
That is the coping with lupus one, there are a bunch of different topics. My screen name there is lupiejessi.
I hope you are doing ok. I gotta go now I am hurting but I'm gonna color my hair....I color it blonde and I have not had any money to do it so my roots are 1-2 inches!!!! I need to do it I hope I will at least look a lil better. Hope to see you over there, i will probably be there, I am tired of this place, I been here since 2007 and it was great but now I need something better. Hugs, jessiView Thread
"any technical issues we might be having just add to the pot. We do see that and we do hear you when you ask us to make changes. Unfortunately, there are often a series of events that have to happen in order to make some of the changes we're shooting for, which means...yes, you guessed it. It takes a little longer."
Is this a webmd script??? Every mod uses it ever since i been here since 2007!!!

For me, Plaquenil was weird. At first it helped tremendously...the Dr said too soon couldnt help yet takes months......ok Kept taking it.......all the while geting infection after infection.....like 1-3 in 2 months!! On and on this went......then bowel infection, then GI and bathroom issues for a year!!!!!!! Finally these past few months I was ill-feeling, nauseaus, abdominal pain cramping, unbelievable amounts of gas, and bathroom troubles of all types.....OK, I determined when I took it in the AM...I was sick all day....it would finally wear off...I ate dinner and took evening dose......SICK AGAIN...........Finally STOPPED IT........ALL BETTER SINCE THEN!! bEEN 2 WEEKS OR SO. jUST FYIView Thread
Yes. Web MD needs to realize that changing for more ads, (profits) wont pay off when everyone leaves. I know you have to make money, but sick people have enough to deal with (literally 3 ft tall stack of papers at my house just to do with my illness, bills, records, etc) that we cannot put up with re-learning a forum every other wipstich. They NEVER SHOULD HAVE CHANGED IT I THE FIRST PLACE...THEY ASKED EVERYONE AND THEN DID IT ANYWAY!! I WAS MAD AND MAD AGAIN......I NEEDED THIS PLACE AND I NEED IT NOW......BUT WEBMD JUST WANTS MORE $$$ AND MORE$$$. THEY DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT ILL PEOPLE AT ALLView Thread
God Bless You Friend!!!!! I keep trying to no avail!! I used to be member there and it was the best!! I really need to get in there, I need much more constant help right now.
