Thats what I see, it seems like at my gym, everyone under 4o or so doesn't even bother to shower and if they do, they are clearly horrified and feel awkward. I know how that used to be for me. Glad I'm free now.View Thread
I know. Its proper to shower first and then head to the sauna or steam room, But people commonly come in with a hideous odor. I guess, since they are soiled, its better they leave their clothes on, but its not great for the rest of us.
You're the only one? That stinks, we've got to find you a buddy to sweat with. At least you're being a trialblazerView Thread
I notice that too, when I was young, in the 80's we still had to change for PE (it was a private school) We all got in there and had to do it, no matter if we were shy, we were quick about it, as the older guys would hang around for longer) I was so nervous I didn't fully grow into my manhood until senior year in college.
But now I'm glad I had those experiences, its fun, and the bonding times were fun (some more than others)
I wonder what it says about our young men even in their 30s that there is a legitimate fear in being nude, even in appropriate places, I noticed in the sauna the other day, that of the guys under 50, it seemed that 80% had either all their clothes on or shorts, not even a towel.View Thread
I don't think its just the south. I have noticed what many others have noticed, that many men under 50 or so aren't as comfortable with nudity. (Especially nudity without being drunk.) Not to say that all men over a certain age are okay with it. There are many factors that feed this fear, but it is really nice when you have a buddy who likes to get naked as well and you can relax, have fun, compare and so forth, just another fun way to bond.View Thread
