This article, New Device Spots Melanoma, explains a handheld scanner and computer analyzes images of skin lesions. One problem, the device has a high false-positive rate.

I was treated for skin Melanoma on my scalp and knowing it may return at some point, I would like to boost my system to fight off any foreign invaders. I use vitamins and eat well although I've heard of Beta Glucan and Resveritaol/Red wine extracts supplements. Does any one have any thing with true science behind it for supplements to boost your bodys protection? Thanks a Bunch & God Bless.View Thread
If so, what course of treatment did you receive and how have you recovered? Reply and share your experience with us.View Thread

As a dermatologist and skin cancer expert in the Sunshine state, I encounter many former "sun worshipers" that have been diagnosed with skin cancer. Were you a frequent "sun worshiper"? How has this changed your life? Do you now use daily sun protection with a broad-spectrum sunscreen?

Thanks in advance,
